Silvana Castillo Master stylists: typically the highest-ranking stylists in the salon. They usually help train and mentor other stylists, helping them move up the ranks to master stylists. These stylists generally have a large customer base, receive positive comments from existing and new customers, and long regular continuing-education credits. Haircuts and styles by master stylists often are the most expensive in the salon. Their experience helps them use a variety of cutting and styling methods. Has more than 11 years working with curly hair specializing in differents methods of cuts and color curls.I started this salon because of the need for a curly hair guru! The Curl Whisperer name was created by my clients while I was working at GBS The Beauty Store. My career as a hairdresser started in Chile when I was 17 years old. When I was 22, I came to the US and studied at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, followed by renewing my license at Latin American Beauty School. Then I worked for Tony & Guy at their Key Biscayne location. It was during that time that I met two of my mentors; Marco Norma, owner of Rossano Ferretti Salon in Miami Beach and Elsa Garcia, an amazing colorist. They were the most influential people in my profession, they taught me the fundamentals of hair color and hair cutting techniques. It takes a lot of education and experience to become the best in this industry. I also was very fortunate to be able to learn back in 2006 abou Devacurl and Ouidad line of products, which are absolutely amazing for curly hair! Certified in Devacurl on 2006 and Ouidad in 2008
